This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 1530 : 2003 `Fishing nets- Description and designation of knotted netting' issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by theBureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of the Textile Materialsfor Marine/Fishing Purposes Sectional Committee and approval of theTextile Division Council.
