This standard (Third Revision) which is identical with ISO 643 : 2019 ‘Steel - Micrographic determination of the apparent grain size’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Metallography and Heat Treatment Sectional Committee and approval of the Metallurgical Engineering Division Council.
