IS 4819 : 1968 Specification for Thin Vulcanized Fibre Sheet (Including Leatheroid) for Electrical Purposes

1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements regardingmaterial, finish, preferred thickness and tolerance on thickness ofvulcanized fibre sheets less than 1.5 mm thick for electricalpurposes.

1.2 The vulcanized fibre sheet covered by this specification isnormally supplied in the form of sheets of defined dimensions, theleatheroid is normally supplied in the form of continuous rolls.
