NATIONAL FOREWORD

This draft standard (Second Revision) which is identical to ISO 3369 : 2006 ‘Impermeable sintered metal materials and hardmetals - Determination of density’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Powder Metallurgical materials and Products Sectional Committee and approval of the Metallurgical Engineering Division Council.

This standard was originally published in 1968 and subsequently revised in 1982. The second revision of this standard has been undertaken to align with the latest version of ISO 3369 : 2006 in dual numbering system to harmonize it with latest developments that have taken place at international level.
