IS 4972 : 1968 Resistance spot welding electrodes

1 Scope

1.1 This standard lays down the code numbers (in metric units),dimensional requirements, and physical and mechanical propertiesfor a series of spot-welding electrodes, cap electrodes and shanks,mainly intended for resistance spot welding of ferrous andnon-ferrous metals.

1.1.1 This standard has been prepared in two sections. Section 1covers standard ISO tapers and Section 2 Morse tapers.
