This draft standard (Part 6) (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 5184 : 1979 ‘Straight resistance spot welding electrodes’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Welding General and its Applications Sectional Committee and approval of the Metallurgical Engineering Division Council.
