1 Scope

1.1 This standard lays down the requirements and methods of testfor judging mechanical, electrical, physical and climaticproperties of telescopic aerials generally intended for portableradio receivers.

1.2 This standard is not intended for television receiversantennae and automobile receiver antennae.

1.3 This standard does not cover the radiation properties oftelescopic aerials.
