IS 5035 : 1969 Specification for Sterilizers, Bowl and Utensil (Pedal Type)

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers structural and functional requirementsof boiling type sterilizers for sterilizing such articles asdifferent types of bowls and utensils used in clinics andhospitals.

1.2 Only the sterilizers which are not used in the vicinity ofanesthetic gases come under the purview of this standard.
