This Indian Standard (Part 2) which is identical with ISO 678 :1976 `Straight bevel gears for general engineering and heavyengineering - Modules and diametral pitches' issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted bythe Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of theTransmission Devices Sectional Committee and approval of theMedical Instruments, General and Production Engineering DivisionCouncil.
