This Indian Standard (Part 1/Sec 3) which is identical with IEC 169-1-3 : 1988 'Radio frequency connectors: Part 1 General requirements and measuring methods, Section 3 Electrical tests and measuring procedures - Screening effectiveness', issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Connectors for Electronic Equipment Sectional Committee (LTD 16) and approval of the electronics and Telecommunication Division Council (LTDC).
