This Indian Standard (Part 4) which is identical with IEC 61169-4 : 2008 ‘Radio-frequency connectors - Part 4: RF coaxial connectors with inner diameter of outer conductor 16 mm (0,63 in) with screw lock Characteristic impedance 50 O (type 7-16)’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of Wires, Cables, Waveguides and Accessories Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.
