1 Scope

1.1 This standard recommends the choice of detergents andsterilizers, cleaning and sterilizing procedures, and tests forchecking for the cleaning of dairy equipment, dairy floors anddairy walls. These recommendations are applicable at all levels ofmilk handling and processing, namely, village level, fluid milkhandling plant, and special dairy equipment in milk productsmanufacturing establishments.
