This Indian Standard (Part 10), which is identical with ISO5834-1 : 1985 `Implants for surgery - Ultra-high molecular weightpolyethylene - Part 1 : Powder form issued by the InternationalOrganization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureauof Indian Standards on the recommendations of the OrthopedicInstruments and Accessories Sectional Committee and approval of theConsumer Products and Medical Instruments Division Council.
