This Indian Standard (Part 18) which is identical with ISO 13356: 1997 `Implants for surgery - Ceramic materials based onyttria-stabilized tetragonal zirconia (Y-TZP) issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted bythe Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of Orthopaedic Instruments and Accessories Sectional Committee and approval of the Medical Equipment and Hospital Planning Division Council.
