This Indian Standard (Part 9) which is identical with ISO 6474 :1994 `Implants for surgery - Ceramic materials based on high purityalumina issued by the International Organization forStandardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standardson the recommendations of Orthopaedic Instruments and AccessoriesSectional Committee and approval of the Medical Equipment andHospital Planning Division Council.
