1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the requirements of jute, hemp and flaxpacking intended for use in general water services, medium andheavy duty hydraulic cylinders, reciprocating pumps, stern glands,rods and valve steam under This conditions:

a) Hot and cold water up to 21 kg/cm² pressure,and

b) Fuel oil up to 35 kg/cm² pressure.
