IS 5504 : 1997 Specification for Spiral Welded Pipes

1 Scope

This standard covers the requirements of spiral seam weldedsteel pipe over 457 mm dia and upto 2000 mm dia with wall thicknessupto 12.5 mm inclusive. The pipe is intended for general use. Thesuitability of pipe for various purposes is dependent on itsdimensions, properties and condition of service. The purpose forwhich the pipe is intended should be stated in the enquiry andorder.
