IS 5662 : 1991 Specification for TV Aerial Feeder Cables

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the requirements for television aerialfeeder cables for connecting the aerial and the televisionreceivers. These cables are divided into two classes:

Class A : Twin unscreened

a) Single insulated; and

b) Double insulated, having characteristic impedance of 300ohms.

Class B : RF Coaxial cable having a characteristic impedance of75 ohms.
