IS 580 : 1973 Specification for Harness Leather

1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements and methods ofsampling and test for harness leather in natural and dyed conditionused for making harness and saddlery. This leather is also used foralmost all purposes where a strong and pliable leather is required.
