This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 1806 : 2002 `Fishing nets- Determination of mesh breaking force of netting' issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by theBureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of the Textile Materialsfor Marine/Fishing Purposes Sectional Committee and approval of theTextile Division Council.
