1 SCOPE

This standard specifies a method for the quantitative determination of vitamin D forms in vegetables oils by ultra-high performance liquid chromatographytandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC-MS/MS). This standard is not intended to be used for products which are not fortified by vitamin D. This method is applicable for edible oils which contain vitamin D2 or vitamin D3 in the range of 10 μg/kg to 200 μg/kg.
