1 Scope

1.1 This standard includes and three inter-conversion chartsintended for use in the inter-conversion of various units used inthe estimation of percentages of ethanol in ethanol-water mixtures.

a) specific gravity in air at 15.6°/15.6°C,

b) percentage of British proof spirit,

c) percentage of ethanol by weight,

d) percentage of ethanol by volume at 15.6°/15.6°C,

e) percentage of US proof spirit, and

f) specific gravity in vacuum at 15°/15°C.
