IS 5868 : 1983 Method of Sampling for Leather

1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the methods of sampling fornon-fabricated leather in the form of whole hides of skins, sides,butts, bends, bellies or shoulders.

1.1.1 This sampling procedure is intended for use in obtainingrepresentative samples of leather for carrying out visual,physical, chemical and other tests.
