This Indian Standard (Part 5/Sec 1) which is identical to ‘ISO 21872-1 : 2017 Microbiology of the food chain - Horizontal method for the determination of Vibrio spp. - Part 1: Detection of potentially enteropathogenic Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Vibrio cholerae and Vibrio vulnificus’, issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Food Hygiene, Safety Management and Other Systems Sectional Committee and approval of the Food and Agriculture Division Council.
