IS 5898 : 1970 Specification for Copper and Copper Alloy Bare Solid Welding Rods and Electrodes

1 Scope

1.1 The standard prescribes the requirements of bare solidfiller rods and wires for welding copper and copper alloys byinert-gas arc process, that is inert-gas tungsten arc welding (TIG)or gas metal-arc welding (MIG). The chemical composition of therods and wires is also specified.
