This Indian Standard (Part 13), which is identical with ISO 5553: 1980 `Meat and meat products - Detection of polyphosphates(reference method)`, issued by the International Organization forStandardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of IndianStandards on 25 November 1988 on the recommendation of the MeatIndustry Sectional Committee (AFDC 18) and approval of theAgricultural and Food Products Division Council.
