This Indian Standard (Part 14) which is identical with ISO 5554: 1978 `Meat and meat products - Determination of starch content(reference method)' issued by the International Organization forStandardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of IndianStandards on 25 November 1988 on the recommendation of the MeatIndustry Sectional Committee (AFDC 18) and approval of theAgricultural and Food Products Division Council.
