This Indian Standard (Part 6/Sec 2) which is identical with ISO1841-2 : 1996 `Meat and meat products - Determination of chloridecontent - Part 2 : Potentiometric method', issued by theinternational Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adoptedby the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of theSlaughter House and Meat Industry Sectional Committee and approvedby the Food and Agriculture Division Council.
