This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 3091 : 1975`Meat and meat products - Determination of nitrate content(Reference Method)', issued by the International Organisation forStandardisation (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of IndianStandards on the recommendation of the Slaughter House and MeatIndustry Sectional Committee and approved by the Food andAgriculture Division Council.
