IS 6008 : 1989 Arc Welding Power Source, Single Operator Rectifier Type, ac and dc - Specification

1 Scope

1.1 This standard lays down the requirements and tests forsingle operator ac/dc arc welding power source incorporating solidstate rectifiers and having drooping characteristics.

1.2 This standard does not cover `constant potential and otherspecial types of rectifier arc welding power sources.
