IS 6035 : 1986 Specification for Zinc Phosphate Dental Cement

1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements and the methods ofsampling and test for hand-mixed zinc phosphate cement.

1.1.1 The primary uses of this material are:

a) to join or to seal dental appliances to hard oral structuresor to other appliances,

b) to serve as a base for a tooth filling material, and

c) to serve as a temporary filling material by increasing theratio of powder to liquid relative to that used for luting.
