This Indian Standard (Part 2/Sec 6) which is identical withISO 7408 : 1983 `Fertilizers - Determination of ammonical nitrogen contentin the presence of other substances which release ammonia when treatedwith sodium hydroxide - Titrimetric method' issued by the InternationalOrganization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of IndianStandards, on the recommendations of the Fertilizers Sectional Committeeand approval of the Petroleum, Coal and Related Products Division Council.
