1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the general construction andperformance requirements of mirror type simplified high-intensityarc lamps designed to provide substantially uniform beam of lightfor projection of cinematograph films.

1.2 It does not cover condenser type arc lamps or arc lamp withrotating positive carbons.
