IS 6159 : 1998 Recommended Practice for Design and Fabrication of Iron and Steel Products Prior to Galvanizing and Metal Spraying

1 Scope

1.1 This standard describes the precautions in design andfabrication that should be taken to obtain good quality hot-dipgalvanized coatings and metal sprayed coatings on iron and steelproducts.

1.2 Section A deals with recommendations for design of metalcomponents prior to hot dip galvanizing and Section B deals withrecommendations for the design of metal articles prior to sprayedmetal coatings.
