IS 6200 : Part 4 : 2008 Statistical Tests of Significance - Part 4 : Non-Parametric Tests

1 Scope

1.1 This standard (Part 4) lays down the following testsof significance:

a)Kolmogorov-Smirnov one-sample test,

b)Kolmogorov-Smirnov two-sample test,

c)Sign test,

d)Wilcoxon matched-pairs sign-rank test,

e)Median test,

f)Mann-Whitney U test, and

g)Wald-Wolfowitz run test.

1.2 For these tests, procedures to deal with smallsamples and large samples have been explainedseparately in this stmdard. The power efficiency ofeach test has also been indicated.
