IS 6250 : 1981 Specification for Roofing Slate Tiles

1 Scope

1.1 This standard lays down the requirements of dimensions,physical properties and workmanship of slate tiles used for slopedroof covering.

Note - The requirements in regard to the method of laying andfixing of slate tiles for roofing have been covered separately inIS 5119 : Part I : 1968.
