This Indian Standard (Part 6) which is modified adoption of IEC 60086-6 : 2020 'Primary batteries - Part 6: Guidance on environmental aspects' issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Primary Cells and Batteries Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
