IS 6365 : 1971 Laboratory electric ovens

1 Scope

1.1 This standard applies to thermostatically controlledelectrically heated ovens intended for laboratory use and designedfor connections to supplies at voltages not exceeding 250V acsingle phase 50 Hz or dc, having an internal space up to 250 litresand ventilated by convection with or without internal fans toassist the circulation of air.

1.2 This standard does not apply to infra-red or radiant heatovens, vacuum or pressure ovens, constant-humidity ovens andforced-draught ovens.
