1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the methods of eddy currentdetection of defects in seamless pipes and tubular products ofouter diameter from approximately 3.0 to 250.0 mm. This standard isapplicable only to ferrous pipes of uniform cross section andcomposition.
