1 Scope

1.1 This standard (Part 2) covers the basic principles to beadopted for the inaccuracies which occur in setting out of thebuilding on the sites, erecting or manufacturing of buildingcomponents.

1.2 This deals with theory and application of dimensionaldeviations which shall be limited by these tolerances inconstruction industry.

1.3 Tolerances are intended to be applied whether or not asystem of dimensional co-ordination is used in design process.
