IS 6494 : 1988 Code of practice for water-proofing of underground water reservoirs and swimming pools

1 Scope

1.1 This standard lays down the procedure to be followed and theprecautions to be taken during the construction of undergroundwater reservoirs and swimming pools so as to ensure thewater-tightness of the resulting structure. Method of maintenanceand rectification of defects noticed during the construction arealso covered in this standard.
