IS 6759 : 1996 Radio receivers for frequency modulation broadcast transmission - Specification

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers general requirements and the minimumperformance requirements for radio receivers designed for reception of frequency modulation broadcast transmissions with a peakdeviation of 75 kHz and pre-emphasis of 50 s.

1.2 This standard also covers the frequency modulation sectionof AM/FM radio receivers.

1.3 This standard does not cover car radios, pocket size and headphone radio receivers.
