Specifies fhe general requirements pertaining to materials, workmanship, finish, :Qnsfruction and maintenance of playground equipment erected in parks and open spaces. The ndividuai equipment are being covered in separafe specifications.

1.1 This specification has been prepared on the assumption that, aifhough the equipment is ntended to be used by children only, it-must nevertheless be capable of withstanding occasional Ise by adults.
