1 SCOPE
This standard (Part 1) covers the methods of tests for determination of the following requirements of building lime:
a) Insoluble residue in dilute acid and alkali;
b) Loss on ignition;
c) Insoluble residue in hydrochloric acid;
d) Silicon dioxide;
e) Ferric and aluminium oxide;
f) Calcium oxide; and
g) Magnesium oxide.
