1 Scope

1.1 This standard (Part 10) specifies a test method forsubjecting a package to a water immersion treatment to investigatereduction in strength caused by its water immersion and theprotection the package gives to its contents from water immersion.

1.1.1 The test is performed on the package as prepared fortransport and may form part of a test sequence.
