IS 7028 : Part 11 : 1986 Performance tests for complete, filled transport packages: Part 11 Toppling test

1 Scope

1.1 This standard (Part 11) specifies a method of carrying out atoppling test on a complete filled transport package which may beexposed to the danger of toppling during storage, transport andhandling.

The test may be used to assess the performance of a package interms of its strength of the protection that it offers to itscontents when it is subjected to toppling.

1.1.1 The test is recommended for packages where the ratio oflongest to shortest sides is of the order of 3 : 1 of more.
