IS 7113 : 2003 Soil-Cement Lining for Canals - Code of Practice

1 Scope

1.1 This standard lays down general guidelines for liningirrigation canals with 100 to 150 mm thick soil-cement lining.

1.2 The use of soil-cement lining for irrigation canals shall berestricted to small and medium size irrigation canals withcapacities up to 10 cumecs and in which the velocity of water doesnot
exceed 1 m/s.
