1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the criteria for hydraulic design ofcross regulators for canals.

1.1.1 This standard also covers the design criteria forregulators combined with falls.

1.1.2 Although a cross regulator may be combined with a bridge,this standard does not cover the details of the piers, abutmentsand bridge decking for vehicular traffic.
