IS 7273 : 1974 Method of testing fusion welded joints in aluminium and aluminium alloys

1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the methods for testing fusionwelds in aluminium and aluminium alloys.

1.2 Requirements for test plates, number of test specimens,mechanical test requirements and acceptance levels are notincluded. These are covered either in the appropriate applicationstandard, or to be agreed to between the manufacturer and thepurchaser.
