IS 7291 : 1981 High speed tool steels

1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the requirements for high speed toolsteels in the following forms:

a) Forged shapes;

b) Billets;

c) Bars - round, square, hexagonal or octagonal;

d) Drill rods - round, square or rectangular;

e) Flats;

f) Strip in coils; and

g) Sheets in cut lengths.
